The addValue
method on Rule
is a shortcut which does not cover all cases.
The behaviour of a potential removeValue
method needs to be defined more thoroughly: where would it search for said value? In the value list or in all nested possible value lists? How is the value even found, by identity or by equality (and if so, how do we define equality and do we match equal values multiple times)? Also, what happens when a value is the second to last or last value to be removed from the list, should the list be discarded then?
I would love to know more about your particular use case. Most likely you know the structure of your lists beforehand. Just get the ValueList
you’re interested in, call getListComponents()
, remove the value you want to remove and feed the resulting array to setListComponents()
.
