Looks like I forgot to upload the 0.8.2 release. Thanks for the reminder! I just did: http://pypi.python.org/pypi/pyuv/0.8.2
The 0.9.x releases won't be uploaded to PyPI because they are "unstable". For example, a few days ago libeio was replaced inside libuv. The next stable release will be 0.10.0, which will happen when nodejs releases 0.10.0 themselves, hopefully not very long from now.

Ah hope it will be soon. I am using the new api of Signal
but it isn't included in 0.8.2 .
from pyuv.
for the record this isn't a big issue. For now I'm faking the new api on pyuv 0.8 versions which seems to work well:
if pyuv.__version__.startswith("0.8"):
class Signal(object):
def __init__(self, loop):
self.loop = loop
self._signal_uv = pyuv.Signal(loop)
def start(self, cb, signum):
self._signal_uv.start()
signal.signal(signum, cb)
def stop(self):
self._signal_uv.stop()
else:
Signal = pyuv.Signal
