The reason for your problem is that the this reference in the serializeUser and deserializeUser is not resolved correctly.

You can try to change your code lines

passport.serializeUser(UsersSchema.statics.serializeUser());
passport.deserializeUser(UsersSchema.statics.deserializeUser());

to this

// use static serialize and deserialize of model for passport session support
passport.serializeUser(User.serializeUser());
passport.deserializeUser(User.deserializeUser());

The difference here is that the latter code fragment uses serializeUser and deserializeUser bound to the model instead of referencing the static functions directly.
