Can we see what command you are running for make this conversion? You will need to use the branch support for this

I'm running a slightly altered version of the example given in the readme
the branch mode doesn't seem to be relevant as the repos foo,bar, and baz don't have any common path apart from //...
and I'm importing them as folders in the monorepo main branch
However, if that works I'm willing to try it!
