Hi, what happens if you upgrade setuptools? It looks like your version is too old to work with the latest setuptools_scm and pymediainfo doesn't enforce a specific version for either of these packages.
EDIT: I can't reproduce in a clean virtualenv with setuptools-65.5.1.

Upgraded to setuptools 69.0.3 and the error is gone. There are a bunch of new warnings, but this particular error is gone. Thanks.

Yes, I'll address the deprecation errors at some point. I know I have to change the way dependencies are declared and so on.
