For future users, the rule seems to be the following:
- If
tcp_payload_lenis0do not createseg->user_data(i.e. it must be kept asNULL). - In outer code, if
ntoh_tcp_add_segmentreturnsNTOH_OKdo nothing. If it returns any other value (includingNTOH_SYNCHRONIZINGfreeseg->user_data. - In callback code, if
segis notNULL, freeseg->user_data.
