Lost all items in list VPNs about ics-openvpn HOT 15 CLOSED

I have no idea what happens there. If that happens again, can you please attach 
the output of logcat or press at lest the report button so I can guess what 
goes wrong?

Its happens again and again :) 
But now I found new mistake, at the options in "IP Setings->No local Binding" I 
made change (from unchecked to checked). But it was not saved and still is 
unchecked. 

What type of log you want? If I attach a Log of conecting to VPN, I think is 
not for you. Logcat Is very long I thing?

the last 50 or so lines from logcat should be sufficient. There should be a 
stacktrace with java names "de.blinkt.openvpn" in it.

Ok, I try it and there is log what I found.

I made this steps:

1) Start OpenVPN
2) Import Openvpn setings and ipmport cert and key files
3) Make changes (no bind etc.)
4) Go home screen of Luncher
5) Go OpenVPN program (still is there items in list)
6) Kill OpenVPN
7) OpenVPN (no-one items there)

Profiles are saved when you exit the configuration of a VPN or connect to VPN. 
The program should directly save after importing a VPN.

After you go to home screen and click on openvpn icon, do you get the 
preferences screen again or the main screen of the application with the list of 
all vpns? I get the preferences again and not the list of all vpns.

I try it once more time step by step, there is 2 logs (logcat + openvpnlog).

Steps:
1) Start OpenVPN
2) Import Openvpn setings and ipmport cert and key files
3) Make changes (no bind etc.)
new 4) Connect to VPN  (not fully work, because the "No local bind" still 
unchecked and cant be changed. Thats mean, the settings was NOT saved.
new 5) Unconnect
6) Go home screen of Luncher
add 7) Go OpenVPN program (still is there items in list) NEWinfo: Open at same 
screen when I switch program to Home of Luncher.
6) Kill OpenVPN
7) OpenVPN (no-one items there)

I will try to reproduce the non saving of settings myself. One last question: 
How do kill Openvpn? With the integrated task manager of Android or with a 
third party app? 

The nobind options should change if the vpn works. Since you are using a HTC 
device you might be running in the broken vpn support that is also 

I try reproduce this problem at night many of times and only when Nobind its 
checked, the trafic was routed throught connected tunel.

I killing OpenVPN by integrated Task manager.

I try to reinstall (Deinstal and Install again OpenVPN. Still this error keep.
I runnig OpenVPN on Samsung Galaxy S II + ICS (4.0.3) official (noROM)

I will  try some other things : Reinstall with reboot device before install 
again. Delete OpenVPN data (integrated app manager) first before uninstal. 

I dont know why, but one time per tens (30+) attemps, the connections is 
working as charm :)

Don't waste too much time into it. I will look into this as soon as I can.

PS: I delete all data with app manager, uninstal, restart phone, install 
OpenVPN, import as usually and .... still not work (connected but not route any 
data). But after that attempt I lost my Wifi conection for a while. Then VPN 
automatically (!) disconect and connect back ... and voiala, the VPN route all 
data and VPN was fully working. 

If you need some other tests, lets write.

I checked in a few changes and push a new version of the app to the market that 
may fix the memory losses of the application

The lists is saved same as a options in items. Thanks 
But still not every-time route throught VPN. But this is for other issues. I 
will testing.
