Energy only uses half of the LED strip about audio-reactive-led-strip HOT 6 CLOSED

Half the strip as in the middle half(like the 1/4th to either side isn't used?) or as in it only uses the right or left side?

@joeybab3 it starts in middle then spreads out, but it feels like it only spreads a little to left/right regardless of how high freuqnecy / how loud it becomes.

Oh so it's as if the volume gets set to to high a threshold but then never hits that after the initial burst.

pretty much, any solution for this? it feels like only a little bit of my LEDS are being lit up because of it

Unfortunately no, I'm just going through these issues trying to get as much clarification as possible so it's easier for Scott or someone else to figure out what's wrong. I can read the code, but I'm not very good at python :P
