Sensu services won't start on Ubuntu 14.04 about sensu-omnibus HOT 6 CLOSED

Oddly enough, sensu-enterprise places its pidfile directly at /var/run/$name.pid, but that is created directly by the init script, so has root privs. Same with sensu-enterprise-dashboard.

It also appears the debs installed on Ubuntu do not add sensu-(client||server|api) to the righ runlevel to start on boot. I had to manually run update-rc.d sensu-$service defaults to get them to start at boot.

Likewise with sensu-enterprise(-dashboard).

@jkugler thanks for opening this issue, we'll have a look. Our testing for this release seems to have missed conditions related to post-reboot operation.

I believe this part is intentional, as Sensu isn't considered ready to run without some basic configuration provided.

@cwjohnston Thanks for the reply. It occurred to me later that one may want to manually enabled the sensu services, so yeah, that's not really a bug.

@jkugler We've just released 0.27.0-3 which resolves this issue. You may have to perform an apt-get remove sensu before installing the new release. Thank you for reporting this issue!
