actually it I missed it. it still shows an error but doesn't auto retry so its less annoying. previously this would keep retrying causing the screen to flicker
I think this works well enough for me now. Feel free to reopen if you think it's still an issue for others

Thanks , let's keep it like this for now. We can both have path and crates dependencies at the same time so I don't want to block them. The problem, it was causing a loop so i fixed that.

@softprops now it will not show errors for git or path dependencies. Please check 0.3.6
