This is a simple code that explains this bug.
# script.sh
echo START
setup() {
ssh -o ConnectTimeout=5 -q server 'hostname'
}
setup
echo END$ cat script.sh | bash
START
server.homessh consumes rest the code (echo END) of the script.sh. Therefore, spec file exit during tests.
This bug will be fixed in version 0.25.0 which will be released in the next few days.
