@Krocko Thanks for confirm. I'll add that soon.

dyson_local.set_timer and dyson_local.set_angle are added to version 0.5.2. To set Dyson speed and auto mode, use fan.set_percentage and fan.set_preset_mode. To set night mode and flow direction, use the switches.

JakubMacoun avatar JakubMacoun commented on July 19, 2024

@shenxn Thank you, but I have one more question. What switches do you mean?

from ha-dyson.

shenxn avatar shenxn commented on July 19, 2024

You should be able to see entities switch.*_night_mode, switch.*_continuous_monitoring, and switch.*_front_airflow in Home Assistant.

from ha-dyson.

JakubMacoun avatar JakubMacoun commented on July 19, 2024

OK I see the entities but their states say "unavailable" and calling switch.* services on them does nothing :/

shenxn avatar shenxn commented on July 19, 2024

Try remove your config entry and re-add. Something may break during upgrading. If it still not working, see if you can find anything useful in log.

JakubMacoun avatar JakubMacoun commented on July 19, 2024

I don't have config entry, I've added the integration via UI. In log, I could find only this:

On startup:
2021-03-09 15:34:01 WARNING (MainThread) [homeassistant.config_entries] Config entry 'Obývací pokoj' for dyson_local integration not ready yet. Retrying in background

On switch.toggle:
2021-03-09 15:36:41 WARNING (MainThread) [homeassistant.helpers.service] Unable to find referenced entities switch.obyvaci_pokoj_front_airflow

shenxn avatar shenxn commented on July 19, 2024

Sorry for the confusion. I mean remove the device configuration from UI, and re-add. If not working, is your fan entity working?

from ha-dyson.

JakubMacoun avatar JakubMacoun commented on July 19, 2024

I have removed Dyson Cloud and Dyson Local from integrations. Re-added Dyson Cloud and now I can't add Dyson Local - after the Host form submit, I get "Failed to find the device using discovery" error. Fan entity used to work before I removed the integration.

Krocko avatar Krocko commented on July 19, 2024

I don‘t have the option dyson_local.set_timer.
I have a pure cool link.

JakubMacoun avatar JakubMacoun commented on July 19, 2024

And on second try, I cant select my device and a different form is shown on New Dyson Local integration - the one which asks me for things like Serial, Credential etc.

JakubMacoun avatar JakubMacoun commented on July 19, 2024

UPDATE: after removing all dyson integrations and restarting HA, I managed to re-add them. Switches for night mode and flow direction work well now.

from ha-dyson.

shenxn avatar shenxn commented on July 19, 2024

@Krocko Does Pure Cool Link support that? According to the code from official integration, it seems that dyson.set_timer is only added when there is a Pure Cool device.

Krocko avatar Krocko commented on July 19, 2024

@shenxn Yes, I changed this in the fan.py and it is working for the pure cool link also.

from ha-dyson.

shenxn avatar shenxn commented on July 19, 2024

@Krocko I've released version 0.5.3. Now you should have the set_timer service.

Pau1ey avatar Pau1ey commented on July 19, 2024

Is the dust info available for the Pure Cool Link fan? I wasn't sure if I was missing that somehow. All other info seems to be available now. Thanks!

from ha-dyson.

shenxn avatar shenxn commented on July 19, 2024

@Pau1ey You can find dust info from theair_quality entity. PM2.5 and PM10 values report the dust level.

Krocko avatar Krocko commented on July 19, 2024

Thank you. It is working.
