Can confirm, was looking for the same thing this morning and could find all my public repos but not private ones.
Some investigation and debugging:
I tried to add it myself but I can't find the code for the backend server so I think it is private. The framework for having private repos for the frontend seems to already exist, as the call to /api/github_repositories is already returning the repositories with private: false in them. So the problem seems to be on the backend side.
I think only @shobrook can make the change, and the change would be to call the GitHub API on the backend side to something like this:
GET https://api.github.com/user/repos?visibility=all
That would suffice, although the created token when the user connects his account to GitHub should also have the permission to read private repos of the user, or else it wouldn't return them.
Feel free to correct me if wrong on anything, I really want to get adrenaline working on my private repos, I think it would be a game changer
