Hi @schiller-manuel !
Did you run the submodule update command before the first try of building?
The CI builds we are running (on MacOS hosts) are using these build scripts on each release, so I just wanted to ask if you had to run this twice.

No, i tried this:
- checkout repo
git submodule update --init --recursiveyarnetc.yarn build-skia
When this failed, I tried git submodule update --remote --merge and then the build succeeded.

Since the Skia build is mainly for library development and the automatic build is working, I'll close this issue for now since you managed to build with your workaround.
