Are you referring to bookmarking a link to a page in the ace editor?

This should be as easy as opening the file in the editor and saving the link. Example
http://localhost/editor.php?p=/file-to-edit-often.txt

yes, that's what I mean. 
Somehow it is not working in my case. 
The link would be 

http://www.zeilhofer.co.at/editor.php?p=/home/.sites/598/site842/web/lackergraben-heating/simple-config.txt
when I open this in a new browser-session (private browsing in
firefox), then i'm asked to enter my password. After this the
"home-directory" is shown.
Perhaps this warnings have to do something with it?:

not within the allowed path(s):
(/home/.sites/598/site842/web:/home/.sites/598/site842/tmp:/usr/share/pear)
