Hey @JulienG0677, thanks for reaching out.
@nickcatal can correct me if I'm wrong here, but given the variable size of URIs in the Chatter API, it doesn't seem like there's a good way of interacting with it using the simple_salesforce API, short of calling Salesforce._call_salesforce() directly, which will handle auth headers and such for you.
Unless I'm off my face, the Chatter API definitely warrants some thought as how to get it into the current API design.
