Documented Sections in the wiki
from sinewalker.github.io.
Need to review ALL posts and put them into one of the Sections
Also need to update the pie menu to break out for the Sections, and put Sections into the blog menu in NAVIGATION_LINKS
for the top menu of the pages.

I will use the ..section:
metadata field and replace any ..category:
with one of the 6 sections defined on the wiki; also set POST_SECTION_FROM_META
to True
from sinewalker.github.io.
looks like you can't have a default section

Sections are removed in Nikola v8, and Categories now offer all the functionality in a consistent way. This might be a driver for moving to Nikola 8+ (though there are breaking changes affecting my custom theme that I need to also address.

I've been thinking a little on this recently. Yet another reason I didn't blog a lot last year is that I found I often didn't have time to invest in making a full long-form article. But I now have come to realize that this is not really what blogging should be about!
Most of my posts are Articles (in the sense that they describe how to do something , as-if it were pitched to an audience that is reading this like a tutorial. In fact that was the intention for these Articles.
But blogging should really be something that I'm doing reflexively, in the Rule 4 sense. This is often what I'm doing at Work, when I get in a rut, and it helps me out a lot there.
So, I should not try as hard. I should be blogging about whatever it is that I'm hacking on, regardless if I have come to a Conclusion or not. These kinds of posts deserve their own Category: lets call it hacking, or something like that.
The existing Article posts should be categorised as such, also.
I could also have a meta category, for blogging such as I'm doing right now. But for now at least I prefer to separate the meta blogging out of the blog itself into this Issues component of GitHub Pages. About the only argument I can think of to bring the meta back into the blog propper would be so that I can keep them together with the blog if I should decide to migrate away from GHP.
