AttributeError: 'uncalled.minknow_client' has no attribute 'Client' about uncalled HOT 2 CLOSED

Weird, I don't get that error. Have you ever installed an older version of UNCALLED? If so, the "uncalled" command could be using a different version of python associated with an old UNCALLED version for some reason.

Try running these commands in an interactive python3 session:

$ python3
>>> import uncalled
>>> print(uncalled.minknow_client.Client)

For me that prints <class 'uncalled.minknow_client.Client'>. If that works, then you could try running uncalled from a script in the cloned repo. So if you clone this repo to <path>/UNCALLED, run <path>/UNCALLED/scripts/uncalled realtime LTR12_DNA_sequence.fa .... You don't need to have an active sequencing run for this test, since I believe your error should come up before that point.

It seems that the problem was really due to an incompatible combination of the uncalled and python versions. I was able to resolve this problem by uninstalling and reinstalling uncalled. The uncalled realtime function is currently working again.
