Having a problem setting the robot class about snobotsim HOT 6 CLOSED

I'll take a look.

One thing, that if statement makes no sense, I think I was fixing PMD issues and forgot to flip a != to a ==. I'm guessing mRobot is null instead of the simulator.

Also, I think you forgot to push to the repository you pointed to if you want me to be able to test with that. It only has a gitignore and a readme.

the problem still exists,
i cannot change the robot_class of the simulation, it will not crash but it wont work.
the crash is still at Simulator.java at line 318.

I think I'm coming up on some time that I can dig into this, hopefully some time this week.

Side Question - Are you trying to run from the command line or from eclipse? If you want to try something quick and dirty, this is what my team did last season, but we always launched the simulator from eclipse. I never tried it with anything else like IntellJ or VsCode, but I know it doesn't work from the command line. Using the versions we did and eclipse might get you up and running in the mean time though.

Im running the simulation from cmd or command prompt, but the code was programed on eclipse mars.
and im currently using a half copy paste of your gradle build, i have changed it to my code.
