If a user denies access with any socialite provider you need to either handle that exception on your end for example in your handleCallback
method.
Some services offer that you set a separate denial callback url which you can set on their website but not all do so it is safer to always handle the exception.

I noticed that if the user denies access, the callback request includes an oauth_verifier
value of denied
. Could we not check for that value in the request and then act accordingly? It would save having to query JIRA's servers and the subsequent exception handling.

Yeah, usually a value like that is what you need will need to use to handle your denial action like redirecting them to a page that shows them a message that access has been denied.

Is it possible to access this value through the Socialite API? I tried directly accessing it, but found that it was protected rather than public. I would rather check the value of oauth_verifier
rather than catch an exception.
