Github isn't playing nice with my examples, so the formatting is a bit off.

I've just pushed what might be a fix for you. It certainly makes the situation better, in that it's not completely buggy with duplicating the line, but it's still not perfect, since it will de-indent one tab space. The code which does it is designed to work with DocBlocks, which are indented by one extra space:

  /**
   *
   */<enter takes you...>
  | here

Anyway, I'm not making a release for it since there are a few other bugs I'd like to fix at the same time, when I get the time to actually do that I'll merge to master. If you'd like to try this patch out, you could clone this repo in your ST2 packages folder and switch to the develop branch, and you should have it.
