Download Playlists about spotify-downloader HOT 11 CLOSED

Here is a nice workaround, which I use on windows (not sure about other OSs)...

1. In Spotify: Go into your playlist
2. In Spotify: Press Ctrl+A
3. In Spotify: Press Ctrl+C
4. In list.txt-file: Press Ctrl+V
5. Download all the songs using the script and this command line: python spotdl.py -l
6. Enjoy :D

I am gonna try to add the playlist feature within a few days.

But I don't seem to get it what you mean by changing the names of songs.. can you explain more?

I mean if I add a playlist with lets say 400 titles,
it would be cool if your tool names the songs like that:
"001 - Nadia Ali, Starkillers, Alex Kenji - Pressure - Alesso Remix
002 - Will Sparks - Ah Yeah - TJR Edit"
etc.
So when you put your songs on a cd and play it, they still have the same sequence as on Spotify. :)

@ferdos1 btw, do you know if the track names are displayed according to their full name saved like Adele_-_Hello.mp3 or according to their title meta tag only like Hello when you use the cd?

As for the naming part, there are already lots of tools doing that.

@shvchk Spotify does not allow to get tracks from a playlist without generating an API token. So, you (and everyone else) will have to generate a unique API token first.

I wish to avoid tokens as the effort put in would not be worth when you can simply copy the tracks in a playlist and paste them in a txt file..
