Cannot Save the songs about spotify-downloader HOT 6 CLOSED

@Whacko23 You do not have avconv installed. Install it for your OS as mentioned in the README.

I downloaded the file and copied the contents of bin to C:\Python27\Scripts. Then I extracted the folder to desktop and moved the 'usr' directory to C:\Python27. I even copied the folders bin, include, lib and share ( the folders inside usr directory) to C:\Python27. However, this did not seem to help at all

Weird, it should work after you have done that step..

Can you post the full error message it gives out? That may help :D

Also, are you able to run avconv?
Open cmd and navigate to Scripts folder in python and run avconv.exe
Does it show any errors?

I just joined GitHub today and only know basic programming. That being said, I don't know how to explain the error.

P.S. I even copied the contents of bin to C:\Python27 ( which was not mentioned in the readme.md). Do you think I need to specify the directory where the music file is to be saved in the script?

Hey, i just tested out and the error shows up when you don't have spotdl.py in your python folder. Put the script in your python folder and run it from there. It should work all good 👍
