Yeah, I've thought about this, but decided against it. The Homebrew version produces a binary that's only really usable from the command line.
eg: not a .app bundle suitable for going in the /Applications folder, which is useful for more people
I suppose we could update the instructions to mention both...
Thoughts?

Oh, i wasn't aware there was a difference in the produced binary. It can be launched from spotlight and seems functional to me, but i just found out about sqlitebrowser so i have not tested it very much. I have no other thoughts on the issue i'm afraid.

No worries. I'll think it over, and see if there's a good way to mention both approaches. 😄

@martinlindhe I've updated the instructions to include both approaches. Do you reckon it sounds ok?

Just FYI in case you run into this: After successfully installing sqlitebrowser via brew on OSX 10.9.5 (after performing the usual Brew update/doctor/etc), could not launch via cmd line
$ sqlitebrowser
dyld: Library not loaded: @@HOMEBREW_CELLAR@@/qt/4.8.6/lib/QtCore.framework/Versions/4/QtCore
Referenced from: /usr/local/lib/QtGui.framework/Versions/4/QtGui

Ultimately uninstalling, reinstalling, and relinking Qt fixed the issue.
ZEUS01:$ brew uninstall Qt$ brew install Qt

If this is unacceptable you should uninstall.
.app bundles were installed.
Run brew linkapps
