UE context release does not happen after UE goes to 'emergency calls only'. about srsran_project HOT 2 CLOSED

Hi, the latest release of srsRAN Project (v23.5) has added support for UE release handling. When a UE connects, disconnects, and re-connections, it will establish a new connection as if it is a new device. Future releases will support rull RRC reestablishment, i.e. the UE will resume its previous session after a momentary disconnect. An exact date for this is not yet available.

Thanks @brendan-mcauliffe. I tried the new version too, I see an issue with the DNN/APN slice in the Open5GS subscriber profile. While troubleshooting the PDU session creation issue, as per suggestions in the discussions (open5GS discussions), I created a sub DNN/APN ims. The PDU session creation is initiated with APN ims and IP is allocated to UE in the core but UE does not get the IP and goes to emergency calls only within 20-30 seconds( here no UE context release). However when the UE again tries to attach, the APN internet is used and UE does get the IP and ping/iperf works and the connection is stable. With this, If I enable flight mode, I see UE context release properly which is working as per the current design.
