Hi @jeffreyaven , sorry for the delay. I'm wondering if it's really necessary to enable CGO, as it involves additional steps such as using Docker image from goreleaser-cross for cross-compiling the binary. Thanks in advance.

@Iqbalabdi thanks for taking this on. I don't know much at all about goreleaser, however for stackql, we do need CGO for our embedded sqlite relational algebra engine. There are also some upcoming modules that will probably use CGO for lower level stuff. TL;DR because we effectively are a relational database management system, we need access to low lever primitives, ergo CGO.
