@Multimo not a bad idea ... I'm sure people would find this helpful (I'm currently not seeing a personal use for this though)

It looks like the library checks if you're online by pinging an external service (http://icanhazip.com/). The trouble with this is that this could be a pretty slow operation if DNS isn't already resolved or on high-latency connections. We could implement very short timeouts, but that may incorrectly show that you're offline on slow networks.
It would be pretty tough balancing between accuracy and speed for this kind of module. I don't know if there'd be a way to do it without a fully asynchronous prompt. 🤔

That's a fair point. Adding this sort of feature would make us closer to being like a task bar but in the terminal prompt.
Never looked into the implementation, possibly not the best library if this is the case.
Probably not worth the trouble at the moment.
