No, that is not the point of the 'move' event. The point is to unify mouse and touch events for moving elements, and to split up multiple touches to make them easier to track separately. It is not meant as anything other than a move gesture, so it doesn't make sense to expose scale or other gesture properties. If you want to do something more complicated you should be using the touch events directly.
