@skarfacegc It seems that you are not aware about the purpose of stderr which to include any messages, regardless if they are errors/warns/info/debug.
A linter should print all those messages on stderr, display found linting errors as stdout (preferably in parsable format) and output nothing on stdout when there are no errors. This is the standard behaviour.

When there are no exceptional cases cSpell still outputs to stderr. Why output to stderr when there is nothing wrong?
