Add Privoxy support to weaken mass data collection about streisand HOT 6 CLOSED

This is one Algo's great differentiating factors. It's otherwise unreasonable to full-system ad blocking on mobile.

I used Privoxy years ago to filter ads/trackers prior to the advent of AdBlock Plus, Self-Destructing Cookies, Privacy Badger, et al. I like this idea, but my instinct given that experience is that Privoxy is at its best when it's running locally on the client itself, and not on a remote server. I can't think of how a connecting OpenVPN or L2TP/IPsec user would take advantage of a Privoxy instance running on the remote server in a performant way, but maybe I am missing something?

Did you have a chance to try this out, or do you have any thoughts on how something like this would work?

Privoxy is hard to setup and most users simply won't bother; despite being slower on a remote server it's better to have it set up for you.
Am I right in assuming the performance penalty would mostly be due to having to double up (e.g.) tcp handshaking / slow-start?

This would be relevant to mobile users. Chrome mobile is very substantially more hardened than Firefox, but doesn't support plugins/addons. Unless a device is rooted (which breaks security too), then AdAway, etc can't be used.
