I want to colour the youtube logo, but without affecting the "play" and the text "Youtube" about github-dark HOT 1 CLOSED

the text is colored by

yt-icon.ytd-topbar-logo-renderer {
  color: whatever
}

the logo youre using the wrong selector. try (you can add classes to that to make it obvious. the below works

g path[fill="white"] {
  fill: whatever !important;
}
g path[fill="#FF0000"] {
  fill: whatever !important;
}

And for future reference, idk why you opened a ticket on some random repo that has nothing todo with youtube styling to ask this.
