WOW! Those are great icons! Well done! I like them so much I'm thinking of using them for my regular calendar app!
My only thought for improvement is the contrast between the gray top and the green bottom... there's something not-quite-aesthetically-pleasing there (for me). It's like it is a monochrome and a color icon merged together, and seems just a touch unappealing. Perhaps that feedback will encourage you to play with it more.
But besides that very minor nit, overall the icons you made are absolutely fantastic and beautiful. I really like how you captured the idea of a calendar without having to put a big number on it like so many other designs. You've done an amazing job conveying a complex notion - a scheduling calendar - in a visual manner. Well done!

I really liked the previous version more. If you were unaware of any similar icons and created yours from scratch, it seems like that is okay. But I'm (thankfully) not a lawyer.

Cyanogenmod's icon has been introduced here: CyanogenMod/android_packages_apps_Calendar@dee6049 . It is licensed under Apache License v2, so no problem to do derivative work. I actually like both versions, but there should be no problem to go back and use the previous one in terms of license.
