Very slow rendering of long, single page PDF documents. about sumatrapdf HOT 6 CLOSED

You mean hang ups were fixed? Well, that's good, but overall performance with single page documents was still very bad in 3.4.6 and older versions i used.

Those PDF are corrupt Edge will not work and Acrobat tells you why and will ignore the top of page beyond 200" up from the bottom !

PDF has a natural limit of 200" or roughly 5 m and that "PAGE" is too long.
If you want as long as from here to Mars the /USERUNITS must be changed to light years of say 22.5 minutes worth to stay under 14400 units

It will work best as 35 pages HOWEVER there are lots and lots of hyperlinks.

If that line between pages bothers you, simply set advanced options to 0 gap

Edge opens it up for me. That's the kind of file browsers produce when i save a webpage as pdf.

I'm curious, what program did you used to split my pdf into pages? Do i need Acrobat or something to do that?

I used Opera save as pageS not save as one page which is difficult to keep inside the 200" barrier unless you read the size of output and scale according to that.
Whilst all PDF readers need to read a whole file to collect fonts and images for one page. They dont expect to render the Universeof Text Fonts just parts of it at a time. The problem with a runtime MEDIA format like PDF is that each sc-roll of the dice / mice means recalculation.
