Please check v. 0.5.0. You can check how to enable/disable drag and resize in demo. I will also soon provide more detailed documentation #6.
I will appreciate some feedback info.

It's possible since v. 0.5.0 to switch dragging on/off by calling on component instance:
gridster.setOption('dragAndDrop', true/false);
Resize:
gridster.setOption('resizable', true/false);

- Resizing from the top does not update the position until finished.
- Resizing does not correctly scroll when the scroll container is the body

- There is a minute gap between 2 gridster Item even though margin set as zero and the gap is not consistent in all the items. How to resolve this gap issue
