UICollectionViewCell not updating when using dynamic JSON content about tlindexpathtools HOT 3 CLOSED

TLIPT will automatically reload an item if it detects that the item has changed. However, this can only work if the item has an appropriate isEqual method and the new data model contains a new, modified instance of the item. However, reloading and moving an item at the same time does not work well, so TLIPT reloads the item after the move is completed.

Another way to refresh cell content is to call

-[TLCollectionViewController collectionView:configureCell:atIndexPath:]

directly for the index paths you want to refresh. If you're not familiar with this API, it is an optional method you can put your cell configuration logic in that is called by the default implementation of cellForRowAtIndexPath. It exists to allow for refreshing cell content without reloading the cell through cellForRowAtIndexPath. You can call

-[TLCollectionViewController reconfigureVisibleCells]

as a shortcut to call the above method on all visible cells (this is what I usually do).
