Are contracts featured in awesome-tact sufficient for this (and so this would be closed with #90), or should this become some sort of a guide under Book→Guides?

Hard to say at this point. We need to inspect the awesome-tact contracts. Also we could use the reference solution for the upcoming Tact contest and the solutions of the future winners. Or port existing standard FunC contracts. Or even come up with a case-study by ourselves, taking into account that we are looking for simplicity which should be prioritized in educational materials.
