As commented in https://github.com/taigaio/taiga-front-dist#for-devs, we use the dist.js script
In summary, you can reproduce it:
git clone https://github.com/taigaio/taiga-front
cd taiga-front && git checkout stable && git pull
npm ci && npx gulp deployNow, you have the compiled Taiga front in ./dist/
We currently use node v12.17.0.
