I leaning towards not removing what we already leverage from TMC, to create the access policies. And generally using TMC where possible as the default approach.

I'm inclined to agree with Jaime. Let's showcase our portfolio offerings here. As the TMC features have parity with what we already implement, we should refactor to leverage with TMC. TMC DP currently only works with AWS, Observability does not have CLI integration, but I do have a PR with optional manual steps.
