Hello, Kevin!
If you think, that this idea did not occur to me, then you are greatly mistaken. Last year and a half I've only been doing, that rewrite my open source projects on .NET Core. This project is last in queue, because it is not so popular as the others.
Recently I added cross-platform support in the JavaScriptEngineSwitcher.ChakraCore, therefore I already have a plan of action for the LibSass Host for .NET:
- Abandon from C++/CLI wrapper in favor of using P/Invoke.
- Add support of .NET Core.
- Build native assemblies for Debian-based Linux (x64) and OS X (x64).
But while it is necessary for some time to wait, because in next 2 weeks I need to finish work on other projects.

Try version 1.0.0.
Included are packages for Debian-based Linux (x64) and OS X (x64). If you need support for other operating systems, then I recommend to read the “Building LibSass” section.
