I don't quite understand the description, can you attach a small Eclipse project and give me the steps to reproduce the problem?

Hi @cbeust , I met this problem too yesterday.
Just define a wrong listener argument in the launch tab and run it.
Such as -listener org.testng.xx.TestListener (the name of this listener maybe wrong)
It will hang for ever.

Hi cbeust
I had make a small eclipse project for this issue.
https://github.com/StormAll/testng-demo-for-hang
- Install the newest testng-eclipse plug in. (version: 6.3.2)
- Run the testng.xml without argument, You can see the test result.
- Run the testng.xml with any error argument, eclipse will be hang and have no response.
Example: -listener se.ericsson.TestListener
