You shouldn't need to add anything at all. v2.3.0 introduces a UI for configuration that should Just Work. Please let me know if it's not working for you; I'd like to try and fix it.

Thanks for answering so quickly. I manually installed it on my rPi through npm, but that doesn't expose it to homebridge. I subsequently installed it through config-ui-x and it is now working. Thanks!

It had completely escaped me that was an option. I don't know that I'll ever get around to making the pairing process runnable on a CLI, so I'll update docs to highlight homebridge-config-ui-x as a hard dependency.
