Every file format should become a module with consistent function & attribute names about iodata HOT 2 CLOSED

The only piece of information that we still have to maintain at a global level is a dictionary of (name, human-readable meaning) pairs. At the moment, this information sits in a docstring in iodata/iodata.py. It would be better to have it in a dictionary that can be used to generate documentation.

After some discussion, it seems better to stick to one module per file format, but with consistent naming across all modules, soch that we can loop over them with importlib. When we turn file formats into classes, we have to use the singleton pattern, which is not very pythonic.

Other minor changes:

• instead of an fnmatch pattern, we should have a list of these.
• the title of this issue will be changed accordingly.
