Seems this is only an issue with 0.2.0. Doesn't seem to work with Rails 3 at all.

It should be easy enough to write a failing test case for this if you want to contribute one. I don't know if .using() is intended to raise an exception for a missing shard or not but it seems like if it is falling back to the master it should probably at least log it.

Closing this since the bug called 'establish_connection and sharding' explains the problem better.

Hi Guys,
Actually, User.using() should raise a exception if you pass a shard that don't exists. Thanks for reporting this bug. it's fixed on master.
