I am also experiencing this after using hacs to update the old version, had to revert to a back up.
Keeps on making empty cards.
It also freezes up my browser after a few min.

I have the same issue. Plugin is making after few seconds again all entites in card but empty.

I got the same issue too:

• on first display: expected bars
• first automatic refresh: expected bars + hidden expected bars
• click on a hidden bars, I got the corresponding popup but that add again a full set of hidden bars
• scroll down: refresh and a full set of hidden bars is added

Once two much hidden bars have been added, I lost the control of the page with a full cpu usage for the browser page container process.

This is an issue with bar-card.
