add prebuilt `d3` layouts &| formatters &| behaviors about d3tablefilter HOT 3 OPEN

I'm definitely open for suggestions here. The possibility to turn data in a table into graphics opens up a huge "uncharted" territory. My problem right now is: I have no idea what people would like to do there.

One aspect is a must have for me, and this is text formatting like it's shown in the table footer of the "interaction" demo app: bold type, right aligned numbers, font face etc. But even that is a lot of stuff to put into a function argument.

For the SVG graphics like the orange circle you could play with shape, color, again text attributes... How should a API for all this look like?

Sparkline sounds very useful, will for sure try it as soon as I find time.

The simplest API I can think of is something that would accept the cell contents of a column and transform it to a visual representation like a sparkline, bar chart, bubble etc. One can write a set of javascript functions to do this transformation and then let the user simply call these functions to achieve what they want. I can try to put together an example illustrating my point.
