It works exactly the same way in FluentDOM.
FluentDOM($element)->text('foo bar');
For large documents you can even use it together with XMLReader:
$xmlUri = 'atom-sample.xml';
const XMLNS_ATOM = 'http://www.w3.org/2005/Atom';
$reader = new XMLReader();
$reader->open($xmlUri);
$document = new FluentDOM\Document();
$document->registerNamespace('atom', XMLNS_ATOM);
while ($reader->read()) {
if (
$reader->nodeType === XMLReader::ELEMENT &&
$reader->localName === 'entry' &&
$reader->namespaceURI === XMLNS_ATOM
) {
$entry = $reader->expand($document);
var_dump(
FluentDOM($entry)->find('atom:title')->text()
);
}
}
$reader->close();
from fluentdom.
Thanks for the clarification. Was it in the docs? I couldn't find it there.
