Can we proceed with the fork?
Ok, is an opensource project but i think is better try to speak together and, maybe, recover this project instead fork it.
There are a lot of people who wants help... maybe we can coordinate with you?
So... what i try to tell: maybe before the fork there are better option.

hi guys

i'm talking in this day with other people: we want fork the project.

We are studying the apps and we planning a migration to django 1.11 for the end of december 2016 and start the new fork with a big update and so on.

Do you like the idea? Do you want join the project? We are setting up some tools to collaborate better...

I think that forking this project would not be a good idea.
I don't seen any answer from project maintainers, am I right ?
I'm not a python + Django expert but I have good experience in programming, scripting, etc.
So I would be happy to see this project revives.
