This happened to me too. If I double click any of the Key Names here:
http://img8.imageshack.us/img8/1030/ss20090305071521.png I get the Crop Shot
triggered. If I remove all the hotkey settings then I get Active Window
triggered.

I also have this problem.
What steps will reproduce the problem?
1.On the Hotkeys page, set all hotkeys to none
2.Program "favorites" buttons on a Microsoft keyboard to launch applications on
your
PC using Microsoft's IntelliType Pro utility.
3.Run Zscreen in the tray.
4.press "favorites" buttons.
What is the expected output? What do you see instead?
With all hotkeys set to none, zscreen should not be doing any keyboard hooking.
Perhaps a checkbox to disable hotkeys (not hook the keyboard at all) would work.
Instead, when pressing "favorites" buttons on my keyboard, the system beeps,
and the
last capture performed repeats. Everything works as expected when Zscreen is
terminated.
What version of the product are you using? On what operating system?
Using version 2.6.7.1 beta on a Windows XP Pro SP3 system.
I am using a Microsoft Natural Ergonomic Keyboard 4000 v1 keyboard, and running
Microsoft IntelliType Pro version 6.20.148.0

I have tested other capture software on the same system (MWSnap, Snagit trial
version), and not seen this problem, so I do not think it is an issue with
IntelliType.
I would prefer to use Zscreen since it supports multiple monitors and virtual
desktops.

Guys, I just noticed the Microsoft IntelliType Pro version 7 for Windows 7 does
not
have this behavior anymore. I am starting to think it is to do with the
Microsoft
IntelliType Pro software.

I'm using IntelliType Pro v7.0.258.0 for Vista, still exhibits this behaviour.
I can
just right click or press Esc and the crop-shot cancels successfully.

I have this problem with the Zune software, apparently... I'm using Zscreen
2.15.1.2
Rev. 644.
OS is Windows 7 (Build 7100). I can't seem to find the Zune software version,
but I
just downloaded it today (just got a Zune).
Looks like it's the same problem as with Media Center (they probably use the
same
software hooks).
Any time I do anything that opens Zune software it triggers the crop shot.
Zscreen
does not crash, I simply have to right-click to cancel the crop shot. Very
strange.

Guys,
I hope I have some good news! We have a build that does not trigger hotkeys in
our
tested environment: http://mcored.zscreen.net/ZScreen-3.20.5.2-setup.exe
Could you please install this and report back?
Thanks,
McoreD

Is it possible to edit a file or make a small update that creates an option to
disable CropShot? I dont think I will ever use it.

Mxpx525, did you try the latest update? Does Crop Shot still automatically
occur?
