I'm glad you like it! :) It makes me happy to know that people are using it.
I appreciate your enthusiasm, but I don't have plans to accept donations for a few reasons:
- I work on this because I use it all the time and I don't see that changing any time soon
- This was the work of a bunch of people - I'm the current maintainer of the emacs themes and one of the theme builders, but most of it wasn't done by me (the themes were done by the people listed in the theme files, the concept was Chris Kempson, and a large portion of the theme was made by previous maintainers).
- Donations create an expectation of work that takes some of the fun out of it (some people see it differently, but that's how it works for me)
- I don't really need the money - I have a job and it pays enough for me to be comfortable where I am
It's always a big help when people contribute back to the project, so if you see an issue (or want to fix something) please submit it.
If you're interested in donating money, please consider donating to a charity of your choice. I personally am a fan of Doctors Without Borders, The Wildlife Conservation Society, American Civil Liberties Union, Room to Read and code.org. Donations would be better placed going to similar organizations than directed at me.
Cheers!
