I was hacking like crazy last night on mammoth, but somehow it didn't work. It seems that the ooxml file that is returned by the Office API is not containing everything (for example I couldn't find the content of the file in ooxml). I included to-markdown
so we can still use html conversion for the desktop apps.

Ahh, and at one point our office online plugin was not working anymore - where I didn't change anything; and it is still not working.

Ah ok, no worries, good effort though! I'm installing Office locally now, so as everything else should work (not sure why the plugin doesn't right now) we can just use my laptop to finish it off this morning if you want?
I might need some help getting setup with the add-in and using it with Office.
What time do you want to meet up later?

That would be great. I will leave my hotel and go to the hack room, maybe we can meet there before the conference starts

In that case.... I will get ready now. May not get there much before 9 though.

no worries. thanks

Cool, if you do want to look at it before using my laptop, I guess we'll need to:
- Add
to-markdown
using Bower / NPM - Modify
getContent
andgetContentBackend
to use HTML instead of OOXML - Modify
markdownConverter
to callgetContent.getDocumentAsHtml()
rather thangetContent.getDocumentAsOoxml()

Also if you want to organise meeting up, might be easier to just text me. My number's on http://tomseldon.co.uk/
